Dry Cough

Gals,any home remedy for dry cough? My husband is having it for the last two to three weeks. he had fever 2 weeks ago and still he is coughing. He is finding it very difficult while at work and has very bad dry cough, I think its due to Phelgm......
Can anyone suggest any remedy for this?. Hope someone helps me out.....Thx.. - Sailu

Acidity

Acidity taggadaniki chitka emina vunte cheppandi plz.....tablets kadu, intlo chesukune chitka...idi chala urgent.. - Nirupama

Naaku acidity undendi, I started eating small meals many times, it gave me lot of relief
and I try to eat atleast 2 hours before goin to bed in the night. This also helped me a lot. Now I feel much better. **I try to follow this, but sometimes its not possible but I definilty do follow when I can do it. -- Sailu

My husband too had acidity problem...drinking plenty of water helped him a lot...these days naaku baddakam akkuvayyi water chaala thakkuva thaaguthunnanu...daantho naaku acidity problem start ayyindi...nannu water thagamani cheppi cheppi maa vaaariki visugocchesindi...anduke roju bag lo lunch box tho paatu oka water bottle kooda peduthunnaru ...eppudu koncham better...
immediate relief ante I can say Prilosec...it works well...but if he has severe pain it's better to consult ur PCP... - Shwetha

I think your muscles are over worked. I remember reading in your blog or in one of ur answers from your hot seat forum, you lift heavy bags. I think that is causing the pain.

I have back pain, shoulder pain and neck pain. The root cause of all these pains is lack of proper exercise and over stressing certain muscles. The shoulder pain, according to the physical therapist is, carrying heavy stuff. In my case she said, it could be the grocery bags. I live in nyc and unlike most of you suburbanites, I don't have the luxury of driving to the store and getting my groceries. I can't even take a taxi bcz the store is just 2 blocks away. So I just carry them home (if I have lot, I have it home delivered). The therapist said, even thought it is just 2-3 bags, if you do it on a regular basis with lack of exercise, your muscles are stressed out.

Just walking, treadmill, etc...isn't sufficient. Part from the cardio, we have to do certain exercises that target each and every body part. Coming back to me, when I regularly do the simple stretching exercises that i learned during my therapy, my neck, back and shoulders are fine. Manamu manchi eluvaatlu eikuva roojulu paatinchalemu kadha...so when ever I neglect, I am back to square on.

Coming back to you, I think you should consult a doctor. You may require some therapy. For temporary relief try giving heat to your body. Heat pads can do miracles to over stressed muscles. And maintain a good posture.

just like you, even i can't sleep in the nights when i have this pain. I too turn and toss all night....so i can relate to ur pain...

and konchem exersice cheyyi upper body strength kosam...ekkuva kasta padaddhu exercise kuda..try to do meditation daily twice for atlest 2 timess..this will help you relax your muscles and from tired ness...
work nundi raagane ..vanta ani panulu pettukokunda if psbl take a warm tub bath for atleat 25 mins..lie dowm in the warm water and listen to some pleasant music..this helps you to forget abt your work pressure and any kind of pressure and tired ness and your body will also get relaxed from tired ness....ila cheyatam daily psbl anipinchakapothe..then do it atleast thrice a week Amu....this really helps trust me..
and don forget to take healthy food and drink milk daily for strength...

Sleepless Nights

Hi friends...gatha 5 daysga nidra pattatam ledhu...dinner 7:30ki thinesthaamu, 9 ki padukovatam alavaatu...eppudu office gurinchi, 4 years ga india vellaledhu - ee aalochanalu...mind clear avvatam ledhu. Help me gals... - Anupama

Nadhi completely opposite situation yeppudu nidra pothuntanu...rojuku atleast 10 hours anna kavali...ippudu time undatam ledhu.....coming to the point

first thing yekkuva ga allochinchaku.....and mind clear ga chesuko...the best thing is doing meditation or yoga....which is really good for mental peace....and go for a walk in the night before going to bed....and listen to good music...me bed room lo manchi smell unna candles pettuko..and lighting dim ga undela chusuko....other things are

Go to bed and wake up at the same times each day. Your circadian clock, which maintains your sleep-wake cycle, is strengthened by a regular sleep-wake time.
# Establish a bedtime routine. Take a hot bath, read a book or listen to soothing music.
# Create an environment conducive to sleep. Make your room dark, cool and quiet.
# Have a comfortable mattress and pillow.
# Remove anything unrelated to sleep from the room. Remove computers and televisions.
# Do not eat anything two to three hours before bedtime. Eating and drinking before bed can cause nighttime awakenings.
# Exercise regularly. Finish at least a few hours before bedtime.
# Avoid caffeine, alcohol and nicotine close to bedtime.

sometimes the ear ache may b due to the earwax so
use debrox ear wax removal aa liquid chevilo vesthe if at all any wax it removes it right away
